UGC NET Signature Size 2026: Resize to 10–50 KB

The UGC-NET application form asks for a scanned image of your signature in a file of 10 to 50 KB. The December 2026 information bulletin sets the file size only; it names no format or pixel size. Upload a photo of your signature on paper below: the tool clears the paper, places the signature on a 600 × 200 pixel JPG and keeps the file inside the KB range, in your browser.

Why UGC NET rejects a signature

  • Older limits. Guides written for earlier cycles give other ranges. This page follows the December 2026 bulletin, updated on 16.10.2026: 10–50 KB.
  • The photo slot. The photograph has its own limit, 10–200 KB. Upload the signature only in the signature box.
  • Details are checked. NTA reserves the right to verify a candidate's details and photographs, so upload your real signature, the way you will sign it again.

Sign on plain white paper, photograph it and upload it below. The tool clears the paper, fits the signature to the UGC NET size under Resize for an exam or job form, and keeps the file inside the KB range. Nothing leaves your device.

Signature Generator 2026: Draw, Type or Upload a Signature

Sign with your finger, a mouse or a pen, or type your name in a handwriting font. Download a transparent PNG, JPG, JPEG or PDF, or resize it for an SSC or IBPS form. Nothing leaves your device.

How do you want to sign?
Photo of your signature

Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, then photograph it in daylight, straight from above.

A transparent PNG has no background, so only the ink shows on your document. JPG, JPEG and PDF always have a white background.

Nothing leaves your device

Your signature is drawn, typed and converted in this browser. It is never uploaded and never saved: close the tab and it is gone.

Resize for an exam or job form

Exam and recruitment portals reject a signature outside their size limits. Their notices describe a signature made with a pen on white paper and scanned, so sign on paper, photograph it and use Upload above, then pick your form here. Check the limits against your own notice before you download.
