SSC Signature Size 2026: Resize to 10–20 KB JPEG, 6 × 2 cm
Staff Selection Commission application forms take your signature as a scanned JPEG of 10 to 20 KB, about 6 cm wide and 2 cm tall. At the 300 DPI the notice names, that is 709 × 236 pixels. Why SSC rejects a signature
- Blurred or miniature. The notice says forms with blurred or miniature signatures will be rejected summarily. The tool fills the box with your signature, so it is not tiny.
- Not horizontal. SSC asks for the signature to be horizontally aligned, so sign along a straight line on the paper.
- Outside 10–20 KB. The download shows the final file size; the JPG is adjusted to stay inside the range.
- A different size in your notice. The Sub-Inspector (Delhi Police and CAPFs) 2026 notice also gives 4.0 cm × 2.0 cm. For that, choose Custom and enter 472 × 236 pixels.
- The Constable (GD) 2026 notice adds that these rejection grounds do not apply to candidates who applied through Aadhaar-based authentication.
