UPSC Signature Size 2026: Three Signatures in One JPG, 20–100 KB
UPSC's Common Application Form asks you to sign three times, one below the other, on plain white paper in black ink, and to upload that as one JPG of 20 to 100 KB. Sign the three times on paper, photograph the sheet and upload it below: the tool clears the paper, fits the three signatures onto a 500 × 500 pixel image and keeps the file inside the KB range, all in your browser.
| Rule | What the notice asks |
|---|---|
| File format | JPG |
| File size | 20–100 KB |
| Image size | 350 × 350 to 1,000 × 1,000 pixels; this tool makes 500 × 500 |
| How to sign | Three times, one below the other, in black ink on plain white paper |
Read from the notice on 5 November 2026. Limits change from notice to notice, so check the one for your exam before you upload.
Why UPSC rejects a signature
- Sign three separate times. The notice asks for three signatures on paper. Do not copy one signature three times: sign the sheet, photograph it and upload the photo.
- Clear and legible. The uploaded signatures should be clear and legible, and UPSC asks that they be clearly discernible.
- Black ink. UPSC asks for black ink for better visibility. If you use Upload, keep the ink recoloured to black.
- Over 100 KB. The registration FAQ allows up to 300 KB, but the CAPF (AC) 2026 notice caps the signature at 100 KB. The tool keeps the file under 100 KB, which meets both.
Sign on plain white paper, photograph it and upload it below. The tool clears the paper, fits the signature to the UPSC size under Resize for an exam or job form, and keeps the file inside the KB range. Nothing leaves your device.
Signature Generator 2026: Draw, Type or Upload a Signature
Sign with your finger, a mouse or a pen, or type your name in a handwriting font. Download a transparent PNG, JPG, JPEG or PDF, or resize it for an SSC or IBPS form. Nothing leaves your device.
Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, then photograph it in daylight, straight from above.
Your signature
Your signature will appear here.
A transparent PNG has no background, so only the ink shows on your document. JPG, JPEG and PDF always have a white background.
Nothing leaves your device
Your signature is drawn, typed and converted in this browser. It is never uploaded and never saved: close the tab and it is gone.

Exam and recruitment portals reject a signature outside their size limits. Their notices describe a signature made with a pen on white paper and scanned, so sign on paper, photograph it and use Upload above, then pick your form here. Check the limits against your own notice before you download.
