RRB Signature Size 2026: Resize to 140 × 60 Pixels, 30–49 KB
Railway Recruitment Board forms take your signature as a JPEG of 30 to 50 KB, preferably 140 × 60 pixels or 50 mm × 20 mm, scanned at 100 DPI or more and signed on white paper with a black ink pen in running letters. Upload a photo of your signature below: the tool clears the paper, fits it to 140 × 60 pixels and keeps the file between 30 and 49 KB, just under the 50 KB top, all in your browser.
| Rule | What the notice asks |
|---|---|
| File format | JPEG |
| File size | 30–50 KB (this tool aims at 30–49 KB) |

Why RRB rejects a signature
- Capital, block or disjointed letters. The signature must be in running letters; one in capital, block or disjointed letters is rejected.
- A signature that does not match. The signature at registration and at the CBT, PET, document verification and medical must match the upload. On a mismatch the candidate may be disqualified, prosecuted and debarred for life from railway recruitment.
- Someone else's signature. It must be the applicant's own.
- Not centred or cut off. The complete signature should be visible in the centre of its box; the tool centres it with a margin.
- Wrong size or format. The form shows an error if the file size or format is not as prescribed.
Sign on plain white paper, photograph it and upload it below. The tool clears the paper, fits the signature to the RRB size under Resize for an exam or job form, and keeps the file inside the KB range. Nothing leaves your device.
Signature Generator 2026: Draw, Type or Upload a Signature
Sign with your finger, a mouse or a pen, or type your name in a handwriting font. Download a transparent PNG, JPG, JPEG or PDF, or resize it for an SSC or IBPS form. Nothing leaves your device.
Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, then photograph it in daylight, straight from above.
Your signature
Your signature will appear here.
A transparent PNG has no background, so only the ink shows on your document. JPG, JPEG and PDF always have a white background.
Nothing leaves your device
Your signature is drawn, typed and converted in this browser. It is never uploaded and never saved: close the tab and it is gone.
Resize for an exam or job form
Exam and recruitment portals reject a signature outside their size limits. Their notices describe a signature made with a pen on white paper and scanned, so sign on paper, photograph it and use Upload above, then pick your form here. Check the limits against your own notice before you download.
RRB Group D 2026 instructions, as reproduced by SATHEE (IIT Kanpur): black ink on white paper, in running letters and not capitals; a JPEG of 30–50 KB, 140 × 60 pixels preferred, at least 100 DPI. This keeps the file under 49 KB.
Limits differ between notices. Check the one for your exam before you upload. Read the notice
Draw, type or upload a signature above first.
