NEET Signature Size 2026: Resize to a 10–100 KB JPG

The NEET (UG) application form takes a scanned image of your signature as a JPG or JPEG file of 10 to 100 KB, clearly legible. The 2026 information bulletin sets the file size only, with no pixel size. Upload a photo of your signature on paper below: the tool clears the paper, places the signature on a 600 × 200 pixel image and keeps the file inside the KB range, all in your browser.

Why NEET rejects a signature

  • An old limit. Many guides still quote 4–30 KB. That was the NEET (UG) 2020 notice; the 2026 bulletin asks for 10–100 KB.
  • Not legible. The bulletin asks for every scanned image to be clearly legible. In 2020 NTA asked candidates who had uploaded an illegible signature to upload a clear one to avoid cancellation of their candidature.
  • The photo slot. The photograph has its own limit, 10–200 KB. Upload the signature only in the signature box.
  • A scribe's signature, where a scribe is used, has the same 10–100 KB limit.

Sign on plain white paper, photograph it and upload it below. The tool clears the paper, fits the signature to the NEET size under Resize for an exam or job form, and keeps the file inside the KB range. Nothing leaves your device.

Signature Generator 2026: Draw, Type or Upload a Signature

Sign with your finger, a mouse or a pen, or type your name in a handwriting font. Download a transparent PNG, JPG, JPEG or PDF, or resize it for an SSC or IBPS form. Nothing leaves your device.

A transparent PNG has no background, so only the ink shows on your document. JPG, JPEG and PDF always have a white background.

Nothing leaves your device

Your signature is drawn, typed and converted in this browser. It is never uploaded and never saved: close the tab and it is gone.

Resize for an exam or job form

Exam and recruitment portals reject a signature outside their size limits. Their notices describe a signature made with a pen on white paper and scanned, so sign on paper, photograph it and use Upload above, then pick your form here. Check the limits against your own notice before you download.
